Soaking Up Sunshine

Simple Joys of Summer in Lancaster County

While I’m away this week soaking up sunshine and sea air (hello, cruise life!), I couldn’t leave without sharing a little love for Lancaster County. Even if you’re not traveling far this summer, Lancaster has plenty of everyday joys that make staying home feel special:

1. Long Evenings and Country Roads
There’s nothing like a golden-hour drive through backroads lined with cornfields, farm stands, and horse-drawn buggies. Bonus points if you stop for ice cream or grab some roadside flowers.

2. Small-Town Strolls
Whether it’s Lititz, Strasburg, or Marietta, take a few hours to wander a walkable town. Pop into a bookstore, linger over lunch at a café, and soak in the charm.

3. Farm-Fresh Everything
From peaches to pickles, local markets are bursting with the best of the season. Try Root’s on a Tuesday or a Saturday morning at Central Market in Lancaster City.

I’ll be back next week with more local tips and real estate updates! Until then, take time to enjoy the simple pleasures. 🧡
